A Jewish writer (I don't know the name) wrote the following words* when describing (I am assuming here) the massacre of over 30,000 Jews at Babi Yar in the Ukraine:
(The Nazis) did not even realize that they were standing before so many precious unique human beings, devout believers and atheists, sad and joyful, good and bad, a carpenter, a banker, an apprentice. The image of the little boy with his hands up in the air seen in the beginning of the video has always stayed with me. The look of fear so clear on his face seems to say it all, not only describing what he went through, but also the nightmare which visited so many millions like him.
May we always remember, and as for myself, I join with the Zionists when I say: Never again. Never again.
*The quotation came from a History Channel documentary series on the SS, in an episode on the Death's Head division. It was read during a portion devoted to the massacre at Babi Yar that took place in the final two days of September, 1941. Who wrote it and when is unknown to me.
