This past Monday, my Congressman, Marlin Stutzman, spoke on the ABC News webcast Top Line about the battle over budget cuts in the House:
Note to Jonathan Karl: It's not Fort Wayne, it's Howe, Indiana! Anyway, what the Congressman was spot on. The goal here is trying to stop the spending and shrink the size of government, not playing politics. I certainly hope enough Republicans in the House (and the Senate) will remember that, or face, as Congressman Stutzman noted, “the political wrath of the American people”.
Election Day isn't too far away.
