| A record-backed statement which speaks for itself. |
It was a mere fluff ad, it was an ad with teeth; it was good only for waste removal, it was a solid reminder of who we have representing us in Indianapolis; it was an ad for a state-level lap dog, it was an ad for a state legislator of whom I have mutually shared beliefs.
I've heard Codie Ross speak, and he is one slick talker who will say what people want to hear. Attempting to pass himself off as another Blue Dog Democrat, I found his claims to be disingenuous when he described himself as having conservative tendencies. I've heard the same thing from Brad Ellsworth, and it's nothing more than bad fertilizer. When it comes to the 2nd Amendment, he talks about being pro-gun, but going into specifics, talks about the hunting aspects only.
Dick Dodge, on the other hand, has proven to be a solid conservative State Representative. Endorsed by the NRA, he has also proven to be a pro-life and pro-business legislator; a legislator who supports the very small town values his opponent claims to espouse.
For me, the choice is obvious: my vote goes to Dick Dodge for re-election as State Representative.

Very well said. The problem is - how do we turn the tide of this wall of ambiguities the voting public has to scale before election day? No matter where I go, I meet solid, intelligent people who are still swayed by the truth-bending ads put out by Dick Dodge's not-so-worthy opponent. Very frustrating. People are so willing to drink the Kool-aid!
