The tank of Fred Thompson's red pickup truck (his South Carolina fundraising) is almost filled. At last check, with the goal at $540,000, $460,611 has been raised, which means another $79,389 needs to be raised today and tomorrow.
To those who've contributed, thanks. To anybody who reads this, if you can give to Mr. Thompson's campaign, or have given but can give more, please do so.

Update (Jan. 11th, 10:30 PM EST): The deadline has come and the goal has been surpassed! A secondary goal of $750,000 was set with the new deadline at midnight tonight. Also surpassed! The total so far is at $775,085. Excellent! Now the campaign can spread the word to voters in South Carolina from now until Jan. 19th.
Meanwhile, Mr. Thompson has received another endorsement today. Considering how respected the endorsers are, this should say something about Mr. Thompson's conservative credentials. And if you saw last night's debate, hopefully those of you undecided were convinced that Fred Thompson is the best choice for the job of President.
