The Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod recognized today as Sanctity of Human Life Sunday. With the 35th anniversary of the Roe v. Wade decision coming, remembering this day is very important for two reasons.
Important to remember just how precious life really is, from the moment of conception to the moment our lives end. It is an amazing thing to realize as human beings, we are special. God knew us before we were conceived, when we were born, gave us our names, knew how our lives would be and knows what we will do in the future.
And important to remember that life begins at conception and is extremely precious now more than ever before in this post-Roe v. Wade society.
Human life is, I repeat, precious, from beginning to end.
P.S. Here are some links about the church's stances on the sanctity of life and on abortion.
