An infamous date

"A date which will live in infamy."

Those very words spoken by President Franklin Roosevelt in describing December 7th, 1941. A date in which America finally woke up after years of isolation, and in a horrible manner. After years of thinking that the problems in Europe and Asia didn't matter because they were literally oceans away, all Americans in 1941 were made aware of the dangers presented by the evil of tyrannical forces that continue to appear on a recurring basis (i.e. Soviet Union, Red China, the Taliban).

The date remains as important to remember as September 11th for obvious reasons. Tammy Bruce and Michelle Malkin have posts and links. Blackfive has a post as well. Also, Deebow of Blackfive relates a personal connection to the event here. Remember December 7th.
